Make a Family Memory Thankful Box

Why does Thanksgiving have to be the only day we celebrate giving thanks? Try this family craft project, and save your memories and thankful thoughts all year round! Start with an empty photo box (or you can wrap a shoe box), and cut a slit on the top of the lid. Attach some note pads and a pen or marker on the top as well. I used a velcro dot on the pen, so that you can take it on and off the top to use.

Take it a step further and decorate the outside with some of your favorite family photos that you printed and cut out and glued on the top and sides.

Start filling your memory thankful box this Thanksgiving and have fun reading them together at next year’s Thanksgiving celebration. Every time you have a thankful thought or favorite memory, capture it! Write it on one of the notepads and slip in the box! You will be amazed at how quickly your family memory thankful box will fill up!

I’m thankful for you reading this post! = )

Happy crafting!
