Frugal Foodie Family

dinner in 30 minutes: 5 meals on the table in a half hour flat.

Was that the longest post title ever or what?

Well it could have been longer – initially I had planned to include something about meeting your newly-made resolutions to simplify your life and become more organized in the 2013.  In that case it might have gone something like this…

“Dinner in 30 minutes:  5 fresh recipes, on the table in 30 minutes flat, to keep you organized and healthy in the New Year.”

A tad on the lengthy side…

My goal is to help you save time while still eating fabulously in 2013, so here are 5 recipes that you can prepare in the time it takes to watch a sitcom.

Breakfast Pizza, served with Fresh Fruit or a Side Salad

Asparagus, Goat Cheese and Lemon Pasta, served with a Side Salad

Almond Crusted Chicken, served with Orzo and your favorite Roasted Veggie.

Chicken, Goat Cheese and Apple Salad with Toasted Walnuts.  Serve with a crusty baguette.

Chipotle Black Bean Soup, with a Side Salad and Pre-Made Cornbread.

TOTAL:  I estimate these 5 meals would cost under $45, based on the prices I typically pay and have listed on this cost spreadsheet.

What’s your take on resolutions?  Love them or hate them?  Do tell…

Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Kelly
